Maruti Suzuki has launched the much awaited new Swift Dzire 2012. First look at Maruti Swift Dzire 2012 and you can clearly tell that Maruti engineers have really worked hard to keep it under 4 meters to take advantage of excise duty while keeping the space in new Swift Dzire 2012 unchanged.

Although the boot capacity is now reduced by 100 litres but Dzire still offers 316 litres of boot which is not bad considering the compact dimensions of the car. The new Swift Dzire is powered by same 1.2 petrol unit producing 87 ps power @ 6000 rpm and the tried and tested 1.3 litre diesel power train from Fiat producing 75 ps @ 4000.

The fuel economy figures are similar to Swift 2012 as Dzire weight is exactly same as that of Swift. Maruti Swift Dzire 2012 comes with all modern day features and safety technologies like ABS, EBD, SRS airbags, Brake assit and Engine drag control system.

There is a good news for people who love automatic transmission as Suzuki is also giving an automatic option in the petrol variant of Maruti Swift Dzire. The four speed automatic transmission is smooth and is well suited for city riding conditions.
